Mother crushed to death in escalator accident after rescuing her son

JINGZHOU, CHINA — A tragic escalator accident in China killed a mom right after she pushed her 2-year-old son to safety.

Xiang Liujuan, 30, was at a shopping mall in the Jingzhou city, in China's Hubei province, with her son on Sunday morning. They took the escalator up and when they reached the top of the stairs and stepped off, a faulty metal panel collapsed. Xiang got trapped in the moving escalator, but managed to push her son out of harm's way right before she was killed. Three employees witnessed the incident, and one of them tried to pull Xiang out of the mechanism but failed.

It took nearly four hours for rescue workers to disassemble the escalator and locate Xiang's remains. According to the Wuhan Evening News, the escalator had recently undergone maintenance, but the construction workers hadn't replaced the screws.

The video has circulated online, and netizens in China are outraged about the accident. The BBC quoted microblog user Maqi Yaduo as posting: "This is heartbreaking! Why didn't store employees cordon off or shut down the escalator? The department store definitely bears responsibility for this."

JM challenges Enrique to MMA fight

JM de Guzman seems like he has an ax to grind against fellow actor Enrique Gil.
De Guzman on Friday challenged the "Forevermore" star to a slugfest.
"With all due respect to Enrique Gil's friends, fans and family. I would like to challenge to a one on one amatuer (sic) mixed martial arts match any place any time, " de Guzman said in an Instagram post.
"I'll give you time to prepare. Man up. Face me. (reply to my text messages please.) thanks brother.: @enrique17," he added.
The Instagram post has since been deleted but it remained on de Guzman's Twitter feed.
De Guzman is the boyfriend of actress Jessy Mendiola.
Amid rumors about their falling out, de Guzman earlier posted a cryptic message for Mendiola.
The 27-year-old De Guzman shared to his followers a sketch of Mendiola with the caption: "I don't draw. Finding it hard to remember the last time you smiled. Thank you [Jessy Mendiola] for everything."
Rumors about their breakup stem from a series of lengthy notes De Guzman posted on his Instagram page, where he mused about heartache, love, and online critics.
Mendiola was also involved in a drunken incident with Gil during the September 4 flight of some Kapamilya stars to London.

This guy calmly holds on to his girlfriend during a motorcycle crash ultimately saving her life

The best advice you’ll hear regarding riding in the rain is don’t do it. Bad weather and wet roads raise motorcycle riding to a whole new level of complexity and danger.
The heavens have opened and it’s pouring. You can’t see very far down the road thanks to the spray coming off other vehicles. Your visor is misting up and you’re not entirely sure how you and your bike are going to handle the rain. Slow down a bit. Relax. Pay attention.
This might be the thought that was running through this motorist’s mind as he was driving with his girlfriend. The rain made the road slippery, making it hard for him to maintain his balance. When the motorcycle started to skid, they were thrown off the vehicle, both skidding through the road as well.

The driver immediately holds on to his girlfriend while they uncontrollably slide through the road. They were fortunate enough, since there were only a few vehicles passing by at that time. In the end of the video, the woman looked shocked, but thankfully there were no serious injuries.
He is her knight in shining armor.

Ever since the fame of the AlDub love team, the viewers, and the netizens kept on comparing the two TV networks, ABS-CBN and GMA.
So, to end all the suspicions about which network is better, a YouTube sensation conducted a survey to find out which noontime show is better.
The result of the survey is somehow a tie because there are lots of people who chose Showtime and there are also a lot of people who chose Eat Bulaga.



Both claim that they aren't watching the counterpart of the show they chose because it's too mainstream and that it only shows the same thing over and over again! 
However, those who chose Eat Bulaga said that they are tired of hearing personal jokes from the Showtime hosts!

Evil ghost 'hurl furniture around room' in terrifying hotel attack caught on camera

The suspected poltergeist appears to move tables and chairs around two different rooms as witnesses watch in horror

A terrifying video has emerged of the moment an 'evil ghost' appears to attack a hotel by throwing around furniture.

In the clip, a man is seen standing in what looks like the hotel's lobby before he inexplicably makes a run for it out of the room.

Seconds later, an armchair starts to slide across the floor - with no obvious reason behind its movement.

Another CCTV clip, allegedly recorded in the same building, shows a woman stood alone in a room as she looks at her mobile phone.

She turns her head abruptly a couple of times - but it is unclear what she is looking at.

But as she turns back to her phone, a chair next to the table she is leaning on suddenly moves, causing her to leap backwards in shock.

Incredibly, as the woman tries to make for the exit, two large tables and several chairs are slammed against the door, blocking her escape route.

Clearly terrified, the woman retreats to a corner of the room before she falls to the floor.

The footage, uploaded to the video site by Night Ghost House, caused shock among YouTube viewers.

iPhone 6s - The Only Thing That’s Changed Is…

1. Force Touch – Apple’s biggest risk will be altering the iOS input method for the first time. Force Touch will bring additional controls via a strong press of the screen. This must prove intuitive or Apple will damage the famously simple usability of iOS.

2. 12 MP Rear Camera With 4K Video – after multiple generations using an 8MP camera, Apple will make a 50% sensor increase for the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus. The increased sensor size will bring greater detail to shots and enable video to be shot in 4K ‘Ultra HD’ for the first time.

3. 5MP Front Camera With 1080p Video – equally important for our selfie obsessed world is Apple will finally give the iPhone’s neglected front camera a major upgrade with a 400% increase to 5 megapixels. This will also enable 1080p ‘Full HD’ video recording.

4. Size Increase - Breaking with tradition, the new iPhones will be fatter than their previous generation and gain some weight. Is this a problem? Not given this is to accommodate the Force Touch sensor.

5. Stronger Chassis – Another key factor in the positive aspect to the weight gain of the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus will be a move to stronger 7000 Series Aluminium. A leaked chassis has already been tested on video showing massive strength improvements  .

6. Apple A9 Chipset - iPhones get faster every year and the new models will be no exception. The iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus will get Apple’s next generation A9 chipset for increased CPU and GPU performance.

7. Increased RAM - while the A9 is expected to offer only relatively modest improvements compared to the A8x seen in the iPad Air 2 last year, arguably more crucial will be the new iPhones’ doubling of RAM to 2GB of LPDDR4. The Air 2 jumped to 2GB last year and it will be crucial to the enhanced multitasking capabilities which will come with the new iPhones.

8. Upgraded Touch ID - with Samsung and others now offering fast, accurate fingerprint sensors, Apple will look to step ahead with a new generation of Touch ID which it believes will be the fastest and most accurate fingerprint sensor on the market.

9. Enhanced voice calls – Apple will add an extra microphone beside the speakers in the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus to make voice calls clearer and to take full advantage of growing support for HD calling.

10. Sapphire Lens cover - This will depend on whether Apple can solve production issues, but the expectation is the new iPhones will sport sapphire camera lenses to offer greater scratch resistance. Apple has used sapphire in the iPhone home button for some time.

11. Rose Gold – To make the Apple Watch, the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus will be offered in an additional rose gold finish.
